Preamble Today, as I publicly commit to this standard before seeking office, I voluntarily bind myself to the highest levels of ethics, transparency, and accountability. If elected, this declaration will take effect on my first day in office. I will not ask anyone to follow rules I refuse to follow myself. Therefore, I hereby adopt The Ox Accountability Standard and direct my office to enforce it without exception.
Article 1 — Full Financial Transparency I will publicly disclose all financial interests valued at $5,000 or more, including income and losses, assets, liabilities, business revenue and expenses, capital gains and losses, dividends, and debts. Disclosures will include direct and indirect/beneficial holdings through LLCs, trusts, partnerships, holding companies, or any entity I control or from which I may reasonably benefit. Article 2 — Anti-Shell & Beneficial Ownership Certification I will not use any shell company, trust, nominee, or other structure to obscure ownership, avoid disclosure, or route benefits. I will annually certify, under penalty of perjury, that no such arrangements exist. (Initial: ______)
Article 3 — Blind Trust or Recusal Within 90 days of taking office, I will place marketable securities and digital assets into a qualified blind trust or recuse myself from advocating, voting, or influencing matters that would materially benefit any holding valued at $5,000 or more. Article 4 — Zero-Gift, Zero-Perk Rule I will accept no gifts, travel, honoraria, consulting fees, or perks from any person or entity with business before my office, directly or via affiliates or pass-throughs. (Initial: ______)
Article 5 — 72-Hour Violation Notice & Consequences Any violation will be posted publicly within 72 hours, and I will donate the value of the violation to a veterans’ charity designated by Ethics Counsel. Willful violations will be referred to the House Ethics Committee with my written request for review. (Initial: ______)
Article 6 — Independent Verification I authorize my Chief of Staff and Ethics Counsel to conduct verification, require documentation, and publish compliance reports. (Initial: ______)
