My Principles of Leadership, Governance, Beliefs, Values, and Promises as an Independent Candidate for TX-30

I don’t want you to guess what I believe. I don’t want to hide behind party language, consultants, or poll-tested talking points. This page exists so you know exactly who I am, what I stand for, and how I will lead if you elect me to Congress.

I. MORAL FOUNDATION

Christ-Centered Leadership

I will not hide my faith, and I will not weaponize it. My relationship with God shapes my character, not your obligations.

My leadership is grounded in:
• Integrity – telling the truth even when it costs me.
• Compassion – caring about people more than politics.
• Humility – admitting when I am wrong and learning from it.
• Justice – standing up for the vulnerable and against abuse.
• Respect for free will – God gave people the right to choose, and government should respect that

I believe faith should inspire how I serve, not control how you live.

II. THE VALUE OF LIFE (BORN AND UNBORN)

Part A – Children Already Born

Before we debate laws, we must look honestly at the children already here:
• Children being recruited by gangs.
• Children living in abusive or unsafe homes.
• Children of single moms and dads who have no safe place after school or in the evenings.
• Children who are not being loved, mentored, or protected.

I will fight for:
• Safe after-school and evening programs for kids and teens.
• Partnerships with churches and community centers to create safe spaces.
• Mentorship and life-skills programs that give young people hope and direction.
• Mental health support and early intervention where possible.
A nation that claims to value life must protect the children it already has.

Part B – Children in the Womb / Adoption

I believe life begins in the womb. The Bible says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). I believe unborn children are created by God with purpose and value.

In Texas today, abortion is generally not legal except when the mother’s life is in danger. That is already the legal reality in our state.
If we truly care about protecting unborn life, then we must do more than talk about abortion. We must strengthen adoption and support for women in crisis.

I support efforts to:
• Make adoption more affordable for families.
• Reduce unnecessary red tape and delays in the adoption process.
• Provide better support and counseling for birth mothers who choose life.
• Encourage churches, nonprofits, and local communities to walk alongside women and families in crisis You cannot just say “choose life” and then disappear. We must be there to help.

III. Immigration & Border Policy

I believe in compassion, but I also believe in order and fairness.

For Those Here Before January 1, 2025

For undocumented workers and families who were in the United States before January 1, 2025, I support a compassionate but structured path if they:
• Can show at least 2 years of consistent employment.
• Have no criminal record.
• Have not lived on government assistance.
• Are willing to follow the law and contribute.

For those who meet these conditions, I support:
• A path to legal residency (not automatic citizenship).
• A minimum 5-year waiting period before they can vote.
• Workplace protections to prevent exploitation.
• Stability for their families so children are not living in constant fear.

For Anyone Crossing After January 1, 2025
- To keep the system fair and enforceable, there must be a clear line.
For anyone who crosses the border illegally after January 1, 2025, my position is simple:
They should be returned to their home country. No exceptions.

2. Modernizing the System

1. Compassionate, Clear and Firm

The immigration system is broken in large part because it is slow, outdated, and badly managed. With modern technology and the fees already being collected (including additional humanitarian parole fees), the federal government can afford to:
• Hire temporary officers and staff to reduce the backlog.
• Digitize and streamline the process for those who came legally and those being processed.
• Get people real answers faster instead of leaving them in limbo for years.

We can be a nation of laws and still be a nation of compassion.

IV. AMERICA FIRST – SPENDING, DEFENSE, TEACHERS & POLICE

1. Military Bases and Foreign Defense

I believe America should protect itself first and stop writing blank checks for other countries. If a foreign nation has U.S. military bases on its soil and benefits from our protection, then that nation should help foot the bill.

This is not about being cruel. It is about being fair to the American taxpayer and making sure we are putting our own people first.

2. Cutting Waste and Reinvesting in Our People

The federal government wastes billions of dollars on programs that do not work, are outdated, or are politically driven. I want to identify and reduce wasteful spending so we can reinvest that money into:
• Teachers – Increasing pay by at least 1.5 to 2 times for high-quality teachers.
• Police Officers – Increasing pay by at least 1.5 to 2 times for qualified and accountable officers.
• Veterans – Providing real support, not just speeches and holidays.

3. Education Excellence

We must take our education system seriously and work to bring America back into the top group of nations worldwide. Our goal should be to get back into the top tier of education—not accept being average.

4. Real Help for Veterans

Many veterans are struggling with housing, medical care, mental health, and addiction. I believe we owe them more than “thank you for your service."

I will push for:
• Accessible housing options for veterans who want help.
• Fast, high-quality medical and mental health care.
• Streamlined VA processes that do not bury veterans in paperwork.
• Support programs for those who truly want assistance getting back on their feet.

We cannot force someone to accept help, but we can make sure the help is there, easy to access, and excellent in quality.

V. PUBLIC SAFETY & COMMUNITY JUSTICE
